The Country Store of Seven Springs found its home in a 1850's wood frame country store. The building was built in 3 phases between 1830 - 1890. The back section was a livery stable to a resort hotel in the late 1800's. When the hotel burned, the livery stable is said to have become the stage coach stop for the town. In the 1850's, a dry goods store was built in front of the stage coach stop and later a ramp was built to connect the two buildings, making the stage coach area a warehouse for cotton and grains. Eventually the ramp was enclosed to make more storage for Cotton and grains. In 2005 the building was approved for the Georgia Historical Register and is now awaiting approval to be put on the National Register of Historical Buildings.
